This post will explain how to register for INEC online voter cards and all you need to know about the CVR (Continuous Voter Registration) procedure.

Elections are approaching, and the only way for you to make your voice heard is to vote. Your vote is significant, and one vote can make a huge difference. Therefore, INEC has opened an online portal for Continuous Voter Registration for New Voters.

On the INEC CVR Portal, you can Pre-Register online as a new voter, or review your voter registration, request an update, or transfer your voter registration to another polling unit if you are a registered voter.

INEC Voters Card Registration Requirements

According to INEC, an individual must meet the following requirements to be eligible to vote:

• A Nigerian citizen.
• You must be eighteen (18) years old and above.
• Live, work, or be ordinarily born in the Local Government Area (LGA), council, or ward served by the Commission’s voter registration officers.
• Not be disqualified from voting under any Nigerian law; appear before the registration officer of the Commission to register as a voter; and not be disqualified from voting under any Nigerian law.

Sign Up/Register at INEC Voter’s Continuous Voters Card Registration Portal via www.cvr.inecnigeria.org

Follow the guideline below to Sign up or create an account at INEC Voter’s Card Registration Portal 2022 before you proceed with Voter’s card registration.

• Go to https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/
• On the homepage, click on Sign in/register on the Right top bar if you’re using a PC. Then the mobile user clicks on the Menu button, as shown in the screenshot below with a red arrow to see and click on the Sign in/register.

• On the next page, you will be asked to create a Portal account. 
• Kindly fill in the form with your First name, Last Name/Surname, Phone number, Email address, and Password.
• Finally, solve the captcha to prove you are human and click continue to continue.
• Alternatively, you can create an account/sign in using your Gmail account.

After you’ve completed the registration process on cvr.inecnigeria.org, you’ll have full access to the website’s features.

• You can register as a new voter on the portal.
