PTDF Scholarship 2022/2023 Application Form Portal Is Open via www.scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng

PTDF Scholarship 2022/2023 Application Form Portal is out online. The Application Form for PTDF Overseas MSc and Ph.D. is out. Here we will show you how to apply for the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Scholarship via www.scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng.

PTDF Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the PTDF Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2022/2023 in the UK, Germany, France, and Malaysia:

• Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, as evidenced by their degrees, academic transcripts, and memberships in professional associations.
• The applicant should reference relevant publications (only for Ph.D. applicants)
• Viability of the study/research plan.

PTDF Scholarship Benefits

• The scholarship award covers payment of tuition and bench fee.
• Provision of flight tickets.
• Healthcare coverage.
• Provision of allowances to cover the costs of accommodation and living expenses.

Requirements for Masters Scholarship:

1. Applicants must hold at least a second class upper (2.1) degree or a second class lower (2.2) degree with relevant industry experience.
2. Candidates must have completed the National Youth Service (NYSC).
3. Be computer literate and possess five O/level credits, including the English Language.
4. Statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) outlining the reason(s) they want to undertake the study, the relevance of the proposed study to the oil and gas industry, and its expected impact on national development.
5. Applicants must have a National Identity Number (NIN) before applying for the scholarship. You will need to verify your NIN before proceeding with the application.

Requirements for Ph.D. Scholarship:

1. Must possess a minimum of second class lower (2.2) in their first degree and a good second-degree certificate
2. Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
3. Be computer literate.
4. A research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry of not more than five pages and includes Topic, Introduction, Objective, Methodology, and Mode of data collection.
5. Each lecturer must present a letter from their Vice Chancellor confirming that they are not receiving any other scholarships.
6. Applicants must have a National Identity Number (NIN) before applying for the scholarship. You will need to verify your NIN before proceeding with the application.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants who pass the first round of screening will be asked for their academic credentials; therefore, all applicants should prepare their academic transcripts for submission in anticipation of such a request.

How to Apply for PTDF Scholarship 2022 via www.scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng

Applications are submitted online through the PTDF Scholarship Portal.

If you are a new applicant, you will have to create an account once you visit the portal.

You can complete your online registration if you already have an account by using the login form.

You must have a valid email address since you will verify your registration via a link sent to your inbox. To be successful, you must meet all the requirements.

Be sure to take note of the portal where you are applying to avoid submitting the wrong application.

Document Requirements:

Applicants are to scan copies of the following documents and upload same to their online application:

• First-degree certificate or statement of result
• NYSC discharge certificate
• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO results and the PINs on the application forms enable PTDF to view the O’level results on the relevant website.
• Recent Passport Photograph
• Local Government Identification letter
• Master’s degree certificate for Ph.D. applicants only
• Evidence of membership of professional associations.
