Neco Result Latest News Update

This is to inform all students who took the 2022 National Examinations Council (NECO) SSCE (Internal), as well as the 2022 SSCE (External), that the Neco results are out online. 

Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, in charge of registration, announced the results at the Council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, saying the number of candidates who made Credit and above in the English language is 889,188 representing 74.89% while the number of candidates who made Credit and above in Mathematics is 929,140 representing 78.23%.

The result also shows that the number of candidates who made five credits and above including English and Mathematics is 727,864 representing 60.74%.

The total number of candidates who sat for the examination is. 1,198,412 out of 1,209,703 actually registered for the examinations.

How To Check Neco Result Online

Ensure you have a Neco token to check your Neco SSCE result online. You can also purchase it online if you don’t have it.

1. Go to the NECO result-checkingNeco portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
2. Pick your exam year. i.e. 2023
3. Pick your exam type. i.e. SSCE INTERNAL (JUN/JUL)
4. Enter your Token Number and registration number in the appropriate columns.
5. Finally, click on the check result button to access your NECO result.

How to purchase a NECO Result Checker Token

A lot of candidates have Neco been asking how I can buy NECO result checker tokens online. The guideline to purchase the Neco token is here right now. To check the results, candidates can no longer use scratch cards but tokens. Below is a step-by-step guide for purchasing a Neco token to check your results:

1. Go to NECO Result portal: result.neco.gov.ng  
2. Click on PURCHASE TOKEN,
3. Fill out your login information. Register now if you have not already done so.
4. Click on the ‘PURCHASE TOKEN’ link on your Dashboard or the side menu.
5. Please enter the number of tokens you wish to purchase, then click PAY NOW.
6. Next, a receipt will appear, tick the box to confirm payment, and click PROCEED TO PAY.
7. You will be redirected to the Remita payment page, where you can choose your form of payment: Card, Bank Branch, Account, Internet Banking, and Pocket Money. Click SUBMIT after you have chosen your preferred method of payment.
8. Once the payment has been confirmed, you will be taken back to your account, where your purchased tokens are listed on the right-hand side of the screen. Click GO TO TOKENS to see all of your tokens.
9. Click on MY TOKENS to view all purchased tokens.
