The establishment of the Research Institutes Order found The Nigerian Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR) 1975 in November 1975. The institutes have their headquarters at Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, off Ahmadu Bello Way. It also operates at Buguma, River State, Aluu, Sapele, Delta State, and Badore, Lagos.

NIOMR Recruitment 2023 Requirement

NIOMR job requirements are sometimes different depending on job descriptions. Some jobs require a certain number of years of experience. 

• Applicants must have OND, HND, B.Sc. Masters’ Degree and Ph.D. in a relevant field of study from the government-approved Tertiary Institution.

• Candidates should have a good knowledge of computers and their basic applications.
• Applicants must have an NYSC certificate or exemption letter.
• Applicants should not be older than 40 years old.
